360° Panoramic Imaging
Four laterally oriented, onboard cameras capture a full 360° panoramic view of the small bowel mucosa with high resolution images. Look directly at the mucosa instead of "down the tunnel," allowing visibility of more lesions if they are present.

Imaging hardware is designed and optimised to deliver a thorough view of the small bowel mucosa. High resolution and typical 15-hour battery life provides the most comprehensive imaging available today. End-facing cameras have an inherent limitation in imaging the inner curvature of the intestinal wall. CapsoCam Plus overcomes these barriers with four lateral, on-board cameras that capture high resolution 360° images.
Studies have shown that faster frame rates and a wider field of view do not overcome the limitation of end-facing designs, which could account for missed lesions elsewhere in the small bowel.
