Liver Assessment Technology
iLivTouch Mini 800
A portable, non-invasive liver assessment system using transient elastography to measure liver stiffness and steatosis.
Regulatory Status: The iLivTouch Mini 800 is approved by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) and included in the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG) for supply in Australia.
Overview
Non-Invasive Liver Assessment
The iLivTouch Mini 800 uses transient elastography to provide rapid, non-invasive assessment of liver health. By measuring liver stiffness and steatosis, it offers clinicians objective, quantitative data to support informed decision-making — without the need for biopsy.
- Non-invasive liver assessment
- Uses transient elastography
- Measures liver stiffness (LSM) and steatosis (UAP)
- Portable and battery powered

Key Features
Designed for clinical efficiency.
Non-Invasive
Provides liver assessment without the need for needle biopsy, reducing patient discomfort and procedural risk.
Quantitative Results
Delivers objective, measurable data including Liver Stiffness Measurement (LSM in kPa) and ultrasound attenuation parameter (UAP in dB/m).
Portable System
Compact, lightweight design with battery power enables point-of-care use across clinical settings.
Fast Results
Rapid acquisition allows efficient patient throughput in busy clinical environments.
Wideband Probe
Advanced wideband probe technology ensures accurate measurements across a broad patient population.
Real-Time Data
Immediate on-screen results allow clinicians to review findings during the assessment.
Clinical Applications
Supporting liver health at every stage.

Liver Fibrosis
Non-invasive staging of hepatic fibrosis to guide clinical decision-making.
Fatty Liver (Steatosis)
Quantification of liver fat content for assessment and monitoring of hepatic steatosis.
Chronic Hepatitis B & C
Longitudinal monitoring of liver stiffness in patients with chronic viral hepatitis.
MASLD
Assessment of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD).
Monitoring and Follow-up
Serial assessments to track treatment response and disease progression over time.

About Transient Elastography
Transient elastography is an ultrasound-based technique that measures the velocity of a low-frequency shear wave through the liver. Liver stiffness correlates with the degree of fibrosis, while the ultrasound attenuation parameter (UAP) provides a quantitative measure of hepatic steatosis. Together, these measurements support comprehensive, non-invasive liver health assessment.
