Optimal Surgical decided to pull the pin and become carbon neutral in 2021.
There is an abundance of talk in the media right now around this but we feel that this is not good enough and more needs to be done. There is no better way to do this than to put our money where our mouth is.
We will be working with Our-Trace, a company that specialises in helping businesses offset their carbon emissions to have a positive impact on the planet. They do this through investing in sustainability programs, some examples of this include:
- Sustainable wind energy project in Taiwan.
- Biodiversity conservation in Australia.
- Siam Cement Biomass project in Thailand.
- Efficient cookstoves in Nepal.
